Marillyn A. Hewson is former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation. She was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2013 and was named Chairman of the Board in January 2014, serving in these positions until June 2020. She served as Executive Chairman of the Board until March 1, 2021.

Ms. Hewson joined Lockheed Martin in 1983 as an industrial engineer. During her career she held leadership positions across the corporation, including president and chief operating officer; executive vice president of Lockheed Martin’s Electronic Systems business area; president of Lockheed Martin Systems Integration; executive vice president of Global Sustainment for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

Ms. Hewson currently serves on the board of directors of Johnson & Johnson and Chevron. She is a member of The University of Alabama’s President’s Cabinet and the Board of Visitors of the Culverhouse College of Business. In addition, she serves on the Board Director Advisory Committee of Catalyst, as an Executive Advisor to World 50, on the Board of Advisors of Air and Space Forces Association StellarXplorers and CEO Academy, and is a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Royal Aeronautical Society. She is a member of the Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations and the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. Ms. Hewson is a former Chair of the Aerospace Industries Association Board of Governors and has also served on several U.S. government advisory bodies, public company boards, and charitable organization boards.
