JOHN DEANGELIS

PRESIDENT OF DEANGELIS DIAMOND

John was born in West Virginia and grew up in Naples, Florida. He attended the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction. John is a State of Florida Certified General Contractor. He is best known as the Co-Founder of DeAngelis Diamond, founded in 1996. DeAngelis Diamond (DD) has since negotiated and managed well over $5 billion in construction.

DeAngelis Diamond is an innovative, nationally-recognized construction management firm licensed in 33 states with a presence in the Caribbean Islands. DD is headquartered in Naples, FL, and has additional office locations in Fort Myers, FL, Sarasota, FL, Birmingham, AL, Franklin, TN, Nashville, TN,  and Detroit, MI. As an avid entrepreneur, John has helped establish numerous other successful companies within real estate development, construction, and various other industries.  John has been a guest speaker at multiple business classes at Ave Maria University and Florida Gulf Coast University. He is the founder and director of the Ephesians 3:20 Foundation and an Elder at Summit Church. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies and numerous other advisory boards.

John is not simply a leader within the Southwest Florida community, he also involves himself and the company in many national and international charity organizations. He and his family travel frequently on Christian missions to China, Cambodia, Haiti, and South America working with orphanages and ministries that rescue women and children from the plight of human trafficking.

In his spare time, John enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
